Occupational Therapy

Stamford Hospital's Occupational Therapy Department provides excellent occupational therapy services to individuals recovering from orthopedic trauma. and many other diagnoses. The therapy services provided are individualized to each patient's needs and may include: self-care management training (training for self-bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), strengthening and flexibility training.

We offer both in patient and out patient rehabilitation services.

All of the activities performed will assist the patient in maximizing his/her independence in daily life, with the ultimate goal of returning the individual to his/her previous level of function.
